Common questions

Which events does ScheduleRow change?

Only events on the calendar it creates for your sheet, named after the sheet. Google only lets ScheduleRow change calendars it created, so your other calendars are out of its reach. You can show, hide, recolour or share that calendar in Google Calendar like any other.

My dates come from a formula. Will they sync?

Yes. ScheduleRow reads the values your sheet shows, however they were produced.

My events are a few hours off. Why?

ScheduleRow reads your sheet's times in the sheet's own time zone (File → Settings → Time zone). A sheet uploaded from Excel often starts with a time zone that isn't yours. The sidebar warns you when the sheet's zone differs from your computer's: click Use … for this sheet and your events move to the right hour. If they still look off, check Google Calendar's own time zone (Settings → General → Time zone): Calendar shows every event in that zone. Pick a city in both (for example New York), not a fixed offset like GMT-4, so daylight saving is handled.

How do I cancel one booking?

Delete the row, or keep it and map a Status column in the sidebar: a row whose status starts with "Cancelled" (or "Canceled") comes off your calendar and gets no reminder. Change the status back and it returns.

Can a reminder go to several people?

Yes. Put every address in the contact cell, separated by commas (a class, or a parent and a student, up to 10). Each person gets their own reminder and their own unsubscribe link. All-day bookings, like deliveries, are reminded at 9:00 AM local time, counting back by the lead time you chose.

How do I stop it?

Turn sync off from the ScheduleRow sidebar in your sheet, or remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Either way, we delete your ScheduleRow data within 30 days (see the privacy policy). The calendar it made, and its events, stay in your Google Calendar until you delete them.
